Sailboat Water on Florida’s Gulf Coast is:
- Navigable water that is not impeded by a fixed bridge lower than 45-65 feet, depending on your mast height
- Depths at dockage more than 4-7 feet at low tide, depending on your draft
- Controlling depths of at least 7 feet at low tide to the body of water that is your destination and/or play ground.
- Permanent Dockage on protected/ semi protected bodies of water not prone to significant wave or current action
